The red colored hubs are the original Garden Dome 3 hubs. Galvanized steel
4-way connectors attach struts to struts at 90 degrees where no hubs are
shown. 225 struts are added to the Garden Dome 3-X2 to build this dome.
Garden Dome 3 facial planes remain the same. Proportions illustrated are
from a 20 foot 2 x 4 dome. However this number of struts for one dome would
be ideal for diameters in the 35-50 foot range; where 2 x 6 and/or 2 x
4 lumber would be used.
