Based on the "Bucky-Truss" dome, the Bucky Ball is divided into pentagrams and hexagrams- 5 and 6 point stars; making a new version of the Star Dome. Compare with the 3 fr. Icosahedral dome that is the "truncated icosahedron" or Bucky-ball shape divided and rounded (Garden Dome 3). Here it is further divided and presented as a design for a large dome with lower rectangle areas that can be used for entrances/exits, or extensions for adding more floor area.
Proportions shown: the lower rectangle areas are 96" x 113". Dome diameter is 47 ft., with 27.4 ft height (height is 58% of diameter).
