Cinesphere  Gallery

The Cinsphere is located at Ontario Place where Toronto meets Lake Ontario. Ontario Place is an entertainment theme park with lots of fun things to see and do. Inside the Cinesphere is an Imax theater.

Although not a conventional geodesic dome it is nevertheless a fine example of dome architecture. Based on longitude - latitude geometry, there is only one great circle - at the hemisphere/equator. The variety of dome strut lengths is much greater than with geodesic domes.
