Tetra Dome 3 HZ -X1 as a garage. As an example size ideal for covering with triangle panels made from 4 x 8 sheets.
Larger sizes can be made if desired. A maximum size might be acomplished using 12 ft boards, base diameter (across opposite points) becomes 24 ft with height nearly 15 ft.  Rectangle opening is about  9 h  x 11 w - big enough to fit a standard garage door, and tall enough to add a loft area.

Next illustrations show the 18 ft dome with entrance and FI struts (blue) added for roof support. More FIs can be added to support heavier roofs and larger domes. For maximum strength, use aluminum or steel Connector Hubs and 2 x 6 boards.

Basic custom door - $40, hinges, latch, lock, boards, nails/screws etc.
Roof materials - depends on type of roof finishing you will do. Minimal: cover seams with metal tape (Peel n Seel) and cover panels with roofing paint. Add roofing felt ("tar paper") and composite shingles, and siding on side triangles for a more permanent structure. Use for garage, temporary housing, remote cabin, emergency shelter, etc.
