Time to do: about 1 hour.

1. Cut out the pattern pieces along the perimeter lines:

Note that the model I made is slightly different than the pattern presented and the revised model should be easier to do.

2. Make creases on the exterior lines by pushing down on a straight edge. I use a counter top with a light underneath to help see the lines. This picture shows the inside:

3. Tape adjacent edges together to make the rounded section:
