This  2 frequency dome frame (Garden Dome 2) is a children's climbing dome that we made last year for a school in Galveston. Size is 12 ft and tubes are 1-3/8" diameter.

One of our current projects is a "GD1 HZ-VBO" or Garden Dome 1 Hexagon Zenith with Vertical Base Option. Size is 14 ft diameter. Floor area is  150 sq. ft. and total height is 12 ft.

The Dome has 3 large rectangle areas where a standard size door and windows can be placed. A special adaptation is the star in one lower pentagon, borrowed from the Star Dome 2 design. See: Star Dome 2-B

A modification of the GD1 HZ with one rectangle area, no base option, and original triangles between lower pentagons modified to give a flat ground perimeter. Result is a great new dome design. All triangles are the same except for those on the two modified bottom areas. Photo album has several 3d renderings.
