Door and extension covering frame is at same angle as adjacent dome struts. A similar door method can be used for larger Octa Domes.

With  4 doors inserted to illustrate the door extension. Door area can have an extension as shown or be incorporated right into the VBO. Note FI struts in the top triangles, parallel to the short dome struts, and FI struts used to frame in the door entrances. FI struts can be used in place if -X1 struts to help support covering materials. They require a compound angle - bevel and miter.
