The octagram is projected to the sphere surface. Triangles are halved with -X1 struts and FI struts are added to support roofing materials. More FI struts can be added as required. As illustrated this 2 x 6 dome is 30 ft. across Base Perimeter edges, with apex height of 9 ft. Main Dome Struts are made from 10 and 12 ft lumber; Base Perimeter edges are 12 ft. This is a short dome but height can be increased to make steeper sides and more interior volume, or decreased for a shorter profile.
