"Star Dome 2-B w/ Pyramids"

Inverted tetrahedron pyramids are placed in each of the dome triangles. Result is a pentagammic (star) pyramid in each of the pentagon areas of the dodecahedron. Illustrated as a tube structure, first views are the basic dome:

Inverted tetrahedrons are added:




Tops of the inverted tetrahedrons are joined; struts shown in orange. This makes a 3D truss / space-frame system for a super strong structure.
